A 12-stream AX6000 Dual Band WiFi 6 (802.11ax) router from Asus, the RT-AX89X also supports MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies. For much quicker wireless communications, it offers 1024-QAM. In the 2.4GHz band, this router can offer 1148 Mbps, and on the 5GHz band, it can deliver 4804 Mbps. Compared to 802.11ac 4×4 dual-band routers, the Asus RT-AX89X is up to 2.8X quicker. With eight Gigabit LAN connections, the Asus RT-AX89X is the perfect device for NAS systems, PCs, and switches. Moreover, it has two 10G ports, one Base-T and one SFP+ port, supporting both copper and fiber 10G connections. This gaming router’s game boost feature reduces lag and latency. With only one swipe on the ASUS Router app, you may turn it on. The Asus RT-AX89X has a dedicated gaming port that automatically gives any attached wired device priority without any further settings. The OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies are combined in this router. The RT-AX89X divides each channel into smaller sub-channels to boost WiFi signal range and coverage.
